Automatic creation of work orders
In Toscana, work orders are automatically created from the
calculation. The system will recognize required working steps and employees responsible for
each
step, and in one click, you can generate a work order which will automatically appear in
production. Creation of work orders is also possible using predefined templates. On the work
order, you can find all the vital information, including the graphic design. Besides that,
it is
also possible to add notes for each working step, e.g., additional instructions for print
finishes, etc.
Work orders can be in physical or digital form. The process of login in
to work
orders is straightforward, and in both cases, employees would not waste much time on the
computer. Employees have to log in to every work order so you can monitor the time spent on each
order and the total working hours of employees in production.
Production planning
Efficient production planning can enable enormous savings for the company. In Toscana, the
system suggests the most optimal production plan based on the occupancy of the machines and
employees in production and proposes a date when the product could be finished.
Of course,
unforeseen situations often arise in production, which is why manual modification of the
production plan is also an option. Using the calendar view, you can track the occupancy of
the
machines or employees and, based on that, arrange working orders using the simple
drag-and-drop
function.
Tracking the status of the print proof approval
Communication with a customer regarding graphic design often takes a long time, especially when
the customer requests additional changes. In cooperation with our clients, we have developed a
module through which you do not have to worry about the status or subsequent modifications of
the graphic design.
Customers can confirm or request additional changes on their own using a
system-generated link. When that is done, you get a notification immediately in Toscana
about
the status change. In the production workflow, you can see the current status of the
print proof
approval at any time so everyone in the production can know whether it is still waiting,
confirmed, or returned with modifications. Graphic designers are freed from direct communication
with customers or sales personnel.

You do not have to be in the company to know what is happening in your production. In the production workflow display, you see all the necessary information. You will know precisely in what production phase a particular work order is, who is working on it, what steps are finished, the estimated deadline for production, what product it is, for which client, etc. The display is also enabled on mobile phones, so you can easily monitor it while away.
